Information and Referrals |

We are happy to assist clients and community members with information and referrals to other agencies who can better assist them. Please check our links page for a listing of local agencies. |
These phone calls serve two purposes: protective and socialization. Protective calls are generally Monday through Friday at the time of the client’s choice. ITAC keeps emergency contact information on file, and contacts those people if the individual cannot be reached. Socialization calls are done regularly on the days the client chooses. All calls are done by staff and volunteers who have completed confidentiality agreements. |

Neighbors In Touch |
We are proud to announce our newest program. Members of our community and other local organizations noticed a need for minor home repairs and alterations among seniors and adults with disabilities. These repairs may include, but are not limited to, installing shower grab bars, building wheelchair ramps, yardwork, or moving furniture. This is a new program with limited funding, and may have a waiting list. Large household repairs, such as new roofing, siding, or electrical work are unlikely to be approved. |
We may refer your request to a different agency if you do not meet our eligibility guidelines. If you would like more information, please contact us, or see our links page to locate another agency that may be able to assist you. |

Grocery Delivery |
We provide a grocery delivery service twice monthly to clients who are homebound, whether long-term or temporarily. Clients on this schedule call in their order to the office. ITAC staff fills the order and delivers it to the home, with an itemized receipt. The client then reimburses ITAC upon delivery. |
Transportation |

In Touch and Concerned provides transportation to appointments and the grocery store for our clients. We have one handicap accessible van and one minivan. We ask that clients schedule appointments two weeks in advance due to high demand. Scheduling trips with us as early as possible makes it more likely that we will be able to assist you. Our grocery trip spots also fill quickly, so please contact the office if you would like to be added to the schedule. For grocery trips, our driver picks up several clients at once, takes them to their store, then returns for them once they are finished. Clients who need assistance shopping may bring one person to help them, provided there is space in the vehicle. |
